The White Rose Classic 2008 is open.
Entry is likely to be full by New Year so enter quickly. Anybody who wants perhaps an equally stiff challenge visit The Ryedale Rumble website for 3 rides out of Helmsley on 27th July. Another demanding Sportive cycle event!
See: http://www.whiteroseclassic.co.uk.
Great "local" Cyclosportive Event that should give you budding Ironmen something to think about.
Advice; Don't undersetimate the sting in the tail that is Langbar Hill!
See you at the flapjack station.
Scheduled for Sun. 08th June 2008 this has got to be an absolute must for all those going to Ironman France in Nice 2 weeks later. The perfect hard ride to get us all ready!! I propose a really big club outing at this one in full club colours with as early a start as possible if doing the 185k. If we all start together, whichever of the 3 distances you choose, we can all break in to ability and distance groups as we go along. At £25 for whichever ride you choose there is 'far more pain for your money' if you do the longer ride ( don't take my word for it....just ask Simon Hassell, Mark Neal and Cooperman !! ). There is great grub provided free of charge at the end. TIM..Can you put this on the Whos Where with myself and Mark Browne down for the 185k biggy!! posted by Mark Rees 091107
